Hi there everyone,

Been a while, yet again, since last here.

To much time been spent on welding and fixing the old 1989 swb Pajero & fishing these days.

Looking for pointers on selling some watches from the herd. Mainly as they don't get the wrist time they deserve.

Just wondering where people are selling and what sites. I'm in mainland europe so prefer to keep within this area. is it still eBay as you first port of call or is there other sites these days.

Any pointers are most welcome, as i've never sold anything that i've bought as yet. Basically as I hate to see them leave me.

Plus at the moment I'm wearing the Citizen Aqualand lume dial, as it totally floats my boat still.

cheers
Ian

Welcome back Ian! Long time no see around these parts. 😁

It's a very tough environment now to sell watches. Except for the most desirable models, things are very hard to sell even at an attractive price. I still believe in the Forum sales but Instagram might be the best platform if you have followers there. eBay is netting low prices.

Good luck - watcha got to offer ?

Welcome back! I have never been on IG but i think Jon's suggestion is a good one, FB is worth a try as well as the forums of course. You never know what someone may be looking for but they will always want it to be a bargain :-( For me ebay is terrible these days, if you are not a powerseller, i consider them to be punitive in their practices, plus with all the scammers i just don't think it is a good place to sell anything nowadays. GLWTS!

Thanks all for the suggestions. I don't do IG and I've stopped doing FB.
Will need to see how I go from here. There was a Seiko meet-up group in Helsinki, they listed info on FB.
Also a Seiko AD I know has asked a few times about my 6139. Will just need to bide my time with the slow market at the moment.
But who knows, I may change my mind and then add another watch the the drawer for rotation.
