6309-7049 from June, 1978. It is all original, except for the new bezel insert. Notice there is no triangle around the lume pip. I have ordered the correct insert and will have to find someone to swap it out for me, though I don’t think it looks bad, as is. However, my OCD tendencies need it to look correct. [emoji6] On a side note, 1978 is my only daughter’s birth year. Now I just need to find Seikos from 1975, 1982 and 1986 to cover my 3 sons.

I do like that watch, but can't justify a depth gauge as these days 2m is about as deep as I get in swimming pool. I've been eyeing a couple of the new Promasters up, and perhaps I should have held off on today's watch and put towards one.

 

Mark Sir even if you Don’t Dive the depth Gauge is just a feature and makes it cool 😎 How many people use the Features of a G Shock Triple/Quad Sensor?
I know I don't😜.

Ha, how many people use a chrono to time something ?? if you need accuracy electronic timing is the name of the game, not pressing a button on your watch, and a digital is much easier to read, you've talked me into it
