The Crystal Story...

Just in case you have forgotten, Spencer Klein transitioned to ownership and production of Jonathan's terrific 1:1 TMG crystals. It's been a slow process but he just passed on his current status:

We have the following crystals available now:

320W10GN00 "Type I" (6105 & more)
320W10GN00 "Type III" (6105, 6309 & many more)
330W18GN00 (6139-600x etc)
330W16GN00 (6106 / 6119 sport divers)
340W14GN00 (6138 bullheads / yachtman, 6139-702x etc)
325W14GN00 (6159 tunas, 7549-7010 etc)
320W28GN00 (6139-800x etc plus more)

We have two other crystals coming:

320W10GN00 "bubble boy" crystals coming, they're being made now.
320W34GA00 produced again. These are the correct flat crystals for the 6309 / 7548 divers, exact reproductions of Seiko NOS crystals, complete with the right side height and unpolished bevel.

Checked the eBay site. Only a small range of crystals at the moment. One major plus - very economic postage rates to Australia if you don't need to get it tomorrow.

I have to say we are really fortunate these days with how many replacement crystals are now available to us (and sellers) be it plastic, mineral or sapphire

There was no link to any sales thread, it was merely an update as to the progress of the transition of Jonathan's business. I find it comical, that this forum is so afraid to allow links to other sites. There was nothing posted that broke any of the posted rules, just more of the same here I guess.

I'm not party to whatever Spencer did in the past but it must have been seriously bad that the very mention of his name years after he got banned gets mods editing threads in a flash. I'm sure if it was someone else selling Jonathans crystals this thread would have remained untouched.
Perhaps it's time to grow up and move on. If you can buy the products off him and use his services then to me, he should certainly be welcomed.

It's an internet forum, some folks just take it too damn serious. I have a feeling that this is all some folks have in their lives, so they think they are more important that they really are. Hence the nonsensical bannings, just ridiculous.

No question that Kelly's photos were the gold standard of the day and would would still rival those made with the latest and greatest cameras of today. I just wish that I had made and kept copies of some of his masterpieces to illustrate his genius.
