Well summer only lasts a few weeks (if it happens at all!) here in Manchester U.K but I thought I would make the effort and give my Bluemo a fresh look.

I had seen the Crafter Blue Rubber discussion on WUS and though it looked a decent product and it certainly addresses that "Sumo Gap" issue. After a couple of email exchanges with the very helpful Eric Mok at CB I pulled the trigger on an orange version having been a little disappointed with the blue tone version. There is currently 25% off these and free shipping for easter
(no affiliation)

Anyway it landed today after a surprisingly short transit of just 7 days and I have today thrown it on - well actually struggled for about 45 minutes - because the tolerences are so marginal to create the seamless look, in the end I had to front load it making sure the top of the lugs were very well masked:eek:hmy:

Here are a few snaps of the pairing, I am wearing it now and the strap is superbly finished with a very soft and pliant texture. It was a bit of a relief to lift the oem bracelet off, it's a decent piece of kit but not the last word in cutting edge style and I grew to dislike the recessed endlink profile

It was just the shade from the photo's, very Royal Blue when I felt a dark navy would be more suitable.
I am pretty pleased with the orange though now I have finally got it mounted which was certainly not straightforward, it's not too bright so doesn't overpower the watch but it really does give the Sumo a bit of a pep up. I have a blue ar sapphire on the way just to finish everything off.

It is nice and good quality but why oh why did they make it so short?
I can just about close it and tuck away the very short end in the keeper, and the buckle is quite offset on my wrist. Considering they have obviously borrowed from Isofrane in the looks/design department I'm surprised they thought it was a good idea to make it so much shorter.

Back to my Bluemo, the Summer makeover continues with the watch just back from Duncan
(The Watch Bloke) after installation of a Crystaltimes Double Dome with purple AR which has really lifted the presence of an already stunning piece!

I really must thank Duncan for the work done so quickly and carefully at a very fair price.

A few pics of the new look

There is very little distortion but the dial has been given added depth. This might have to go back on the bracelet soon it is looking so dressy!
