I'm going to try yes try to put a Seiko 7546 into a 7002.........lets see.
But first the cheap 7002 I bought on ebay.
Look at that after market dial. Wow.
The least they could of done was get the caliber right!
Bonus is the movement runs and has 7002 rotor but was sold as a non runner.
Hope the new crown I get to go with the 6309/7546 stem, screws down better than what's looks like the original crown and stem.
Into the ultra sonic cleaner in a minute for a good clean might even need a soak.overnight.

I read somewhere that the thread sizes are different. 6309/75xx being bigger. Is there enough meat on the crown to tap it if needed?

I will be using an AM 7002 crown with a thread for the 7546 stem rather than an original one piece type 7002 crown/stem.
Hopefully its the crown threads that are worn rather than the ones ion the case
