I have a nice Seiko King Quartz 5856-7030 but it would benefit from a new crystal and general clean up.
I cant see how to remove the caseback.
I have the standard tools, and can open snap back cases with a case knife and screw back cases, but this one has defeated me!
Looking at the stem, it looks like the whole movement should come back out of the mid case.
There are two small slots in the mid case at the 6 and 12 positions, but its not obvious how these would help.
Any ideas?
