I like all models and makes of about any watch brand out there. Heck, I think I like 'em all. And about vintage pieces...that could be another thread!. But I'm partial to Rolex and Tudor watches, they are really sweet watches for me. Some tastes >:D ....
And I'm pondering about getting myself a Tudor Black Bay, a really cool looking and great watch. In Europe you can find them in every Rolex AD. They are soon to be available in the USA. Really like the snowflake hands,

They come with a bracelet, a great vintage looking leather strap and a fantastic looking, specially made NATO fabric strap,[img]

Also would love to have in my collection a great and super cool Pelagos. This one have a heart in the form of a ETA 2824.
Really, you can't have it all....,
[img]

And the automatic helium escape valve,

and a Deep Sea Sea Dweller, which I'm wearing right now. This is a huge and heavy watch, with a BIG presence, I absolutely love it. Not for everyones taste I guess,

All wonderful watches....

The theme seems to be mostly subs, so here are three I've owned for a very long time. I prefer the vintage models which I guess is a good thing.

1961.. 5512 with gilt dial, 1969.. 1680 Red Sub, 1974.. 1665 Double Red Sea Dweller

That is probably the top three most sought after (withinn reasonable measures) Vintage Rollies you could get. :bravo_2:

Take another great diver from switzerland, SQUALE. Their top of the range 1000m Professional is run with a 2824-2. How much? $1299. The BB is a beautiful watch with a proven movement but so is the SQUALE. With one your paying for the watch, with the other your paying for the advertising too.

Good point. If I remember correctly Tudor takes the basic ETA calibres and completely refinishes them, including adding there own balance cock. Similar to what IWC used to do with the ETA movements in their pilot watches. This would account for a bit of the price difference I would imagine.

They can add what they like but at its heart it's still a stock $200 movement. For three and a half thousand bucks it ought to have a Rolex movement in there;-)

Wow, that 5512 is spectacular. I love the way the seconds track is set away from the edge of the dial on these early subs.
