Hello,

I recently acquired a Seiko 7a28-7009 giugiaro chronograph. It was in sort of rough condition, not running, and missing the pushers and housing. I wasn’t able to acquire the unique pusher housing and yellow pusher buttons, as well as a donor 7a28 to replace the movement.

Could anyone point me to a replacement crystal for this particular model? I have browsed the internet, but it is a little confusing and I do not know what size or where to order from.

Thanks in advance for your help and guidance!

You can glue it in if the seal can't be reused.
Why would you tell people such ****?
That's what I thought, Guy - but didn't like to say.

Besides, if you were to dispense with the nylon crystal gasket, and glue a crystal in, you'd be looking at a larger diameter crystal (possibly 32.5mm) to compensate. Very odd. :undecided:

The Seiko part number for the original correct replacement crystal is 320W42GN00.

They're about if you're prepared to pay the price for originality.
Otherwise find yourself a good quality 'generic' replacement.
You're looking for a 32.0 diameter mineral glass, approx. 1.5mm thick with a small decorative polished bevel edge.

Jules Borel may be able to supply something suitable: http://cgi.julesborel.com/cgi-bin/matcgi2?ref=nY]GWkWGkfU<

There's also a Sternkreuz equivalent part, p/n XMF320.927, which I would have recommended in the past, but the size of the polished bevel edges on their recent production has recently diminished to the point where it's smaller than you might find on a Cousins UK generic (like their p/n F150CMH320). Cheap at a fraction of the price. https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/150mm-cousins £0.80 + tax.

You pays your money and takes your choice.
All will fit - press in, re-using the original tension fit nylon crystal gasket. ;)
