Interesting article, thanks for sharing. It felt a bit all over the place to me, but some good thoughts nonetheless. GS's marketing can come across as a bit gimmicky at times, but my main issue with them is the overwhelming variety of watches they've been producing lately. It makes visiting their stores quite fun, but in the end, nothing sticks for me. The two that I've had have been sold on either because I got bored of them or they started selling their supposed US market only watches abroad.

The endless releases and "special editions" from Seiko are fatiguing. Kinda like cable TV - 150 channels of nothing interesting. But ... occasionally there is a gem to be found.
