Yet another ebay bargain :0)

Just had this delivered today. It is a 7123-8290 from February 1981, bought as 'spares or repair' for the ridiculous price of £3.08 +p&p.
Took about an hour to clean all of the muck out of the bracelet and off of the watch case, then removing the back revealed no battery fitted. At this point I was thinking 'well for three quid I've got a Seiko bracelet the watch can't be a runner'. however on fitting a battery it started to run. Been running now for a couple of hours and appears to be keeping good time. Sadly the crystal is cracked and will need replacing, anyone on here (in the UK) able to supply and fit one for me?

Many thanks, sounds promising:cool:
If you would like to make a quick profit I'll give you a fiver for it! :13:
I picked ounce up for my citizen diver for under £1 + del
Although you'll need some callipers to measure
Well Borel shows it takes the 310T57AAS0 crystal and the SternKreuz equivalent is XAC 311.676

I'll bet the classic series of Seiko
310 T 11 ANSO
310 T 18 ANSO
310 T 48 ANSO
310 T 49 ANSO

all fit perfectly if you can find one of them cheap just go for it. I'll be surprised if they don't work.

Thanks for the info, but I bit the bullet and the watch is currently with Rich Askham, (who very kindly ignored his aversion to quartz watches especially for me  ) , having a new crystal fitted
