Selling an original Seiko 6309-7040 from 1981. The only parts that are non original are the dial and the hands. The watch case is unpolished, with it's original finish. There are a couple of dings and some scratches on the caseback. The original bezel insert has some wabi, but I am including a new aftermarket insert. The whole watch has been overhauled by Jake at DawnofTime Watchworks. He relumed the dial and hands which now glow very brightly. He replaced all the gaskets with the proper Seiko gaskets and lubricated it with Seiko lubrication. It was also pressure tested to 10 ATMs. He also used the correct Seiko shims under the bezel insert, which is often overlooked in restorations. The bezel clicks strongly and the crown has 3 turns. So if you want a diver that looks vintage but has been completely and professionally restored, this is the one. It is running a bit fast so could use an adjustment. It is on a genuine Seiko z-22 wave rubber strap and comes with an extra aftermarket crystal. ***SOLD*** shipped in North America.
