I don't even know if the item I am seeking is actually a tensioning ring. It is a small metal spacer / gasket type piece, that I believe fits between the crystal and the watch case.

Right now my Bell-Matic rattles, and I have been told that this ring is required to stop the rattling. I had the ring from my old crystal, and bagged it when I fitted a new crystal. Now it is lost somewhere at my watchmakers.
