An Orient Star classic, white dial with blue hands for me:

Edit: I can't resist adding a macro shot showing the curved seconds hand: ;)

Hi Tony,
The American Hospital in Paris has a stellar reputation, so it's a nice place to be born at! :)
And that Orient Poseidon is HUGE :-\ (and stylish), I like it but it's a little bit too big and heavy for me.

That's a nice picture of the "Gallerie des Glaces", where King Louis XIV would meet the court everyday 300 years ago. I often walk past it (just outside) when I go for a walk in the gardens of the castle, and marvel at the fact that I can enjoy this wonderful place as a simple citizen of a democracy.

That's a very nice mod, certainly one of Noah's best looking ones. Congratulations!

I'm still wearing this 6309 on the new Shark mesh bracelet I got Friday. Very comfy!

Still my 6138. I adjusted the regulator slightly, and as of this morning it's been running an absolutely consistent +4/day over the past four days (Ken Setser just serviced the movement). The old Seiko chrono movements are capable of fine accuracy and consistency.

We were there during our honeymoon back in 2000. It is a magnificent place. When we went, the gardens had recently sustained damage.

That "fake" perspective is amazing. Looks like as if the palace is extending onto the ocean.

Love France.

Finally out of bed and back to work. Not quite 100%, but I'm out of the house nonetheless. Wearin' one of my "New" vintages today.

Cheers!

How smooth is the chrono seconds hand when engaged?

Fairly smooth, same as other 21,600bph Seiko's seconds hands (6 beats per sec.).

What a nice comfy feel this picture has of this watch. Kinda like a pair of tattered, faded jeans that just fit so well you can't part with them.
