Bulova automatic with a Miyota 82S5 (open heart) movement I've had for 3 years now. This year is the 50th anniversary of the Miyota 82XX movements. Automated construction kept the costs down and production rate high. Who knew the movement uses tungsten in the reciprocating rotor for the weight density? Not me.....
The epitome of this movement is the 8315 60hr reserve movement with an upgrade to the mainspring of the 82XX. The 82XX movement hacked, and wound from the beginning, it was and is still a competitor of the Seiko 7S26 series which does not hack or wind. Both companies still market these durable movements.
The best complement on this watch was from my Uncle Boudreaux down in the Bayou. "Dat's a big ole purdy thang ain't it?" Means he liked it I believe.

Same watch as yesterday.

I’m at my youngest daughter’s and SIL’s baby sitting here two rescues. They are rough on toys.

And the two foster rescues she saved but will need another adopter.

They want to go after poultry, cats, etc.

I‘m back at regular work but not to a level I can help with some busy farm maintenance-or getting cats down- so I’m doing some channel surfing and getting a refresher on Swiss Army knife skills While watching the pets.

And this guy- a vet of road warrior, fall guy, knight rider, etc. is the bad guy for the episode.
