Not sure if this ones called the ufo or not, would look nice alongside a 6138 0011 or a slide rule though B888F002-0318-43DD-A5C0-0D5A873C3263_1580302960720.jpeg

Another great piece of metal work Neilo.

Sadly the Christopher Ward half price sale is still on and I couldn't resist their current take on a Flieger watch. The autos had all gone and mad markups on eBay so settled for quartz but perhaps better in a way as more suited to a grab and go rather than a daily wearer.

At 44mm it's large but wears well. Layered dial is gorgeous in the flesh. Very happy (but NO more buying!)

:)

I am still new here and going thru the JDM boxes. Here's a clean example of the 61GS in very nice shape with original polish and sharp edges. Taro Tanaka really took it to the Swiss with grand showings in accuracy competitions that got Seiko banned from future showings. Mine is running +2 after overhaul. Unfortunately I hairlined the acrylic right afterwards so I'm putting a call in to friend for replacement.
Oh I like that one. And I can't quite make it out from the caseback pic, but if that serial starts with "86" I'm going to find you and steal that watch!

This one again after sorting a minor niggle - it had an intermittent power issue in that occasionally when I wound it I could hear and feel the auto-rotation weight spin, undoing the power reserve. Opened her up again and found the culprit was a slightly out of place spring on the differential wheel. So I dropped it into a fresh cup of really hot tea, fired up the infinite improbability drive, and today's test runs have all been very pleasing.

That is pretty cool and unusual John, even without glowing the dial has a cool design.
