Yep, truly appreciate Classic Orient timepieces. I was introduced to them many years ago traveling the East. The street guys dealing in watches favored them as well as Seiko. Made my first watch deal trading a Bulova for an Orient. Have enjoyed them ever since. Yours is a beautiful watch!

Experimented polishing the crystal with 2000 grit sandpaper and compound - it worked decent enough, so this 6119-8083 gets worn today.

(Actually could be a bit more aggressive for some of the deeper scratches, but leaving well enough alone) :

Wearing my Green Willard to keep an eye on it for the weekend since the second hand was stopping on me multiple times yesterday. I reset the time and put it back on my wrist after work yesterday and been wearing it all day today and so far no issues and only running 6 seconds slow!

i'm a bit late today, the late sun is slanting in low...this watch, my "fauxmega",
always feels like some kind of reliquary, because the dial was made by Noah Fuller,
supplied by AXB. funny, i never thought of a watch as a vitrine before, but with the
right dial, that's what it becomes.
