Am I seeing a bit of a sunburst effect in that dial? Never seen one in person but had been thinking it was matte all along.

 

hi jay,
that is a sunburst dial, and it's an option on the Doxa 200, you get to choose matte or sunburst.
partly to differentiate from my 300, partly because i really like sunbursts...
