My Citizen Tsuyosa, which will be released, in the US, very soon:

This is a great release by Citizen. It has a sapphire crystal. But just 50 M WR, which is enough for most activities. It looks more expensive than it is. I love this dial color.

Steeldive Turtle Friday !
I keep 'nearly' buying one of those but I'm afraid that it would be the gateway drug to getting into collecting divers 😁

Had to change today as I've some bracelet parts arriving for my 7019 beater I've been wearing since Mon and I know I'd not be able to resist tinkering whilst at work so .....

i'll be doing lots of hard labor today, so i'm wearing my Seestern beater,
it's got a sterile dial and been relumed, slim caseback brings it to 11.8mm
including the sapphire, case has been shaved and blasted...not bad for
a beater :)

Another deal with Peter R. Sent a 7A28 previously bought back that was missed on his end and this in return. Bit of a grail watch for me so to say I am a happy new place holder is understatement.
RAF Gen 1

Currently on Haveston single pass strap. Understand these were originally on a cuff style with nylon strap. Not easy to source. Would be nice to find a close reproduction.

Exercising my grandfathers final pocket watch today. In his late years, he could no longer manage the intricacies of his lifelong pocket watches. He then used the simplicity of what was known as the dollar pocket watch, a Westclox “Bulls Eye.” This particular one is a series 3, manufactured between 1957 and 59. They were displayed in country stores, drug stores, five and dimes and bars. The cardboard presentation board would have multiple watches hanging on it. These timekeepers have a plastic crystal and a nickel case This one gained three minutes overnight with the most beautiful and solid ticking sound that could be heard several feet away. You definitely cannot run a railroad with this humble time piece. But at 65 years of age, it is a vintage survivor! I’ll smile hearing it ticking in my pocket all day!

Do it !
To just dip your toe in, go to Aliexpress and pay just a little for a great watch. It's heavy, looks great, and keeps good time.
Oh, did i say I think they look great too ?

That’s a nice looking watch. Very popular these days and on my radar. I understand it doesn’t hack. Does it manually wind?
