Overthinking this IMO. If you have plenty of 6105s, why not? Especially considering that very nice case back on the 6217.

The key to a 62MAS is the shimmering brown/gray dial characteristics, quite magical to many. I just can't see that in these dial photos but maybe they are not the best pix. That's most of the battle in my book.
I recently stumbled across this Macro Photo of a 6217 62MAS Dial. Is this photo Real? Is this how the intricate color is created on the Dial? Under magnification the pattern and color combination is just Insane :)
