This is a really funky 1970 Seiko 6106-5009 DX Manhattan watch. It was recently serviced and regulated by a local watchmaker. It's all original and features hacking seconds, and an English / Spanish day wheel. The case and bracelet are fantastic on this, especially with the cool fitted end links. The square domed crystal is also a great touch. It has all the spare bracelet links and will fit the largest of wrists.
The date is advanced by pressing the crown in. The day is set by going back and forth from 9:00 to 3:00. Be advised that the crown is small and tricky to grip, so setting the day takes some effort.
This is a distinctive and funky watch, that would be a great purchase for someone getting started with vintage Seiko, or for an experienced collector looking to add something different
