Wow! Seller screwed himself. It's my understanding that the bezel hardly ever works as designed anymore on this model. They usually sell for $300 to $400, and they all have a bezel issue.
I have one myself. I don't think the bezel issue is readily evident. I didn't even realize mine wasn't working the way it was designed until I read some threads in the mirror that explained how the bezels were originally designed to work. IIRC, they are supposed to "lock out" and resist rotation unless you depress them. The bump out on the right side of the case houses the mechanism that controls this. Typically (according to the threads I read) the mechanism is worn and no longer provides enough tension to prevent rotation. That certainly appears to be the case on mine. It requires very little downward pressure to defeat the "lock out". Other than that, the bezel functions like any other diver's bezel.
