i have been searching for ages for a couple of excellent examples of these and they just dont seem to exist. it seems that 6105s, 6309s are more abundant in good condition (stress in good condition).

can you pls show some good ones if they actually exist?

The 4205 series of divers come in Mid size and Small size.

This 4205-0150 is Mid size

I also have the orange dial mid size version and the small black dial version.
1 down, 2 to go. I'll try to get more photos today as time allows.

Yurp, if one were to search for a model number - instead of the case code.:)
SUG089 small SUG099 mid

so if the SUGs are the model number and 4205 is the case code...do the other watches we all know and love have model numbers?

eg 6309, 6306, 6105 etc etc

sorry to push the point, but i am just surprised that i have somehow missed this bit of info ie i always thought the case codes we used were model numbers

All modern Seiko's have a model number - say for instance case code- 7S26-0020, model number could be SKX007 SKX173 etc.
If you look at the forum catalogue archive , you'll see the model number against each watch.
If you go to Seiko's site here http://service.seiko.com.au/pls/apex/f?p=104:20:2019825758473762:Go:NO:RP:: and input calibre 7S26 and case 0020, you'll see on the list they give you the model numbers. DON'T use enter on your keyboard - click SEARCH on the page.
