Worth considering: NH35 (date), NH36 (day/date) & NE15 (not available until April 2015 from Cousins) & 6R15, however the 7S26 is 4.9mm high the others range from 5.25 to 5.32 high which may cause the second hand to foul the underside of the crystal.

Ok, so would a double dome (domed on inside as well) provide enough clearance to use the 6r15?

Correct me if i'm wrong but the extra thickness won't affect dial side, the extra will all be at the back end ?

He's also selling the black day date disc version for 72$ if i remember correctly.

Do you need brand new or used,John?
All my own personal TSTs are 6106/6306/6309/7546/7548 based and this will be my first SKX TST (I do own a standard SKX) so I fancied something good or better if you know what i mean ? :)

John, within the exact dimensions of an SKX case, the 6r15 will be the top grade movement in that class. It's almost plug and play. The 'almost' resides in the fact that if you going to use the original dial, you'll have to add a week day wheel (doable, done in the past by the late and dear Noah Fuller and Jake B.).

Also, if going the 6r15 route, you will need a proper stem also, due to the hack and handwind complications not present in the 7s26, originally.

The SARB059 uses the exact same case of the SKX007, plus it's powered by a 6r15, so this is proof that that case is able to house a 6r15 plug'n'(almost)play.

Take the SARB059 original crown (which looks exactly like the SKX crown, but it is signed as a plus) and you'll have the stem puzzle solved.

Nice,i agree with you 100%!:)

So you need a brand new 7S26C version?

I'm not sure which version Mr.Lee is selling currently.:icon_scratch:

Anyone knows a cheaper source for cheaper 7s26?

You know the answer to both your questions, John! :p

Although as stated above, CousinsUK could be an alternative for the movement, but they will restock the NE15 (unbranded 6r15 from SII) only around April 2015, if you're willing to wait 'till there.
