What's happening to me?

1353 Views 18 Replies 15 Participants Last post by  LongBike
Only a couple of weeks ago I was perfectly happy with the one watch I had...an old worn Swiss Army watch. Then I laid eyes on an even older and beat-up thing of a watch revered to by the name 'Turtle'...a Seiko 6309-7040. I don't believe in voodoo or hocus-pocus but strange things have happened since... :eek:hmy:

Any advise concerning this phenomena is greatly appreciated :D

Cheers, Matt

The same thing happened to most of us, get used to it as it's unlikely to go away anytime soon.....

The other thing you need to worry about is the effect on your bank account!

Just get as much overtime at work as you can because you will need it :)
You have entered the ZONE

When you first posted here, Do you remember saying ........
" Hi ....... Noobie Here " ?
Well the Noobie wore off, and you entered the area where you just thought you were just asking a .......... " Question ". Now what happened is you were told ..............
" Welcome to the Madness ",
and that's what has happened . You asked and got a answer by posting. Now all you have to do is get your " Bank Account " , re-arranged to a place your "Wife ", does not know about. it. Well on the other hand you might need couple more cards to operate more efficiently now. This is because you have " Contracted A Craving ", that has come over you and don't know how you got it.

Note : " It's going to get " Stronger Now ", but you will adjust real fine.
But make a few more posting's ..... " In The WTB Section ", and it will
get much more comfortable for you.

No cure im afraid, best you get a bigger parts box
There isn't any advice possible.

You only live once.

This is just the top of a steep, slippery slope, and you're tipping over quick.

Hehehehe.....
Too Late Now...Have Fun !!!!
well you are like all of us...welcome to the fun
Thats it .......

No cure im afraid, best you get a bigger parts box
That's that one that gets the Award .......... Ivor, :iagree:that box looks to
small now. :72: You will have to get a few more boxes.

:s_hi:, I was there also, I am ... LongBike , and I can help you with some advice if needed.
My answer to what I did to answer that question is .......... " Below the Dotted Line ".

But First this very important message :
You have a very nice parts box, but you need to go to the Hardware store, buy some wood, and make a
big square box and couple more boxes like that one and slip them into it, and you be in ..........
" Top Shape ".
...............................................................................................................................................
Answer I found :
I got ...... " Couple more Watchs, to fill the hunger ". :72::13::57:
Oh, welcome to the Form , we love having you here.

You are doomed, it's too late 😈😈😈.........Bob
Welcome to the insanity. As others have implied, it's a incurable disease. But please don't refer to that watch as a "Turtle." That name was coined by ebay sellers. If you want a turtle, buy a Helson.
......it's so encouranging that:
I'm not the only one with the WTB symptoms
There's a place where I can find comfort and advise
There are others who feel a bit guilty when the postman makes a delivery
My PayPal account shares the same dryness on occasion

Allready I feel at home :) and to me....that's half the fun!

Cheers, Matt
Nice to see this move. Wear in good health

Wear in good health
well you are in great company here...
There are others who feel a bit guilty when the postman makes a delivery
No guilt here. You wouldn't catch me getting stuff sent to work and sneaking it into my man cave !

Allready I feel at home  and to me....that's half the fun!
I think a few of us regard this as a second home.
it was OK till i discovered Grand Seiko .. now I have 5 + a drained bank account!
New guy in the Asylum!! But only good people here.. Enjoy!!
When we are not on here

We are not always on here, but when we come back,
we put the computer on and when it gets to the Watch Site
we say ..............
" Hello, I home now folks ", then its " The Family " together
all over again.
That's it
