I liked the SCTF moved up to the top. It's so much easier to click on it now than before. 8)

We have such a forum on our Dutch watchforum too. Especially here, where sellers and buyers come from all over the world, such a review board is perfect.

+1 Much better and easier to navigate between forums. ;)

amen, thanks.
Dave
We are looking into how to better implement the seller/buyer feedback section into a more productive and effective area.
We will notify everyone as soon as we have more news.
Thanks for your understanding.
I have to say...Very disappointed in the removal of this feature! I really did enjoy the feture and used it all the time! Just because someone has a problem with a "High Ranking" member does not constitute the total removal of the section! We all have problems from time to time with fellow forum members that may or may not need to be aired here. Granted...some "Push The Envelope" of good taste and sense but PLEASE DO NOT DO AWAY WITH THIS FEATURE!! :'(

This feature was NOT removed because of anyone having any problems with any "high ranking" member. There is no such thing as a "high ranking" member when it comes to moderating the forum. The rules apply to everyone, there are no exceptions.
We are looking into how we can better implement such a feature in the future, as well as finding the resources to deploy it effectively.
Please give us some time.
Thanks ;)

Alientraveler. Unless you are privy to the going's on of how and why the staff make certain decisions, please don't pass of personal speculation as if it were fact.

As Time said, members don't have rankings. the same rules apply to new members as they do to old timers. What we did do was reorganize and streamline the forum, and that feature didn't work sitting at the bottom by itself once the SCTP was consolidated. As Time said we are looking for a way to better integrate things and that includes these sections. One thing we do not want is to have the bad sellers section turn into a place to blast otherwise good members for a transaction that went south, or for members to take pot shots at others for simply reporting their experiences. THAT IS NOT WHAT SCWF IS ABOUT. We want that section to be a place to report buyers and sellers who are truly out to defraud members. Once we figure out how to integrate these sections they will find their way back. in the mean time, cut us some slack, and if you have a question about anything pertaining the site, ask a staff member.

this can be solved by making all bad experiences by a truly defrauded buyer(s) subject to moderator approval prior to being posted?

there really is no need for a "good guys" area because if someone is not familar w/ a seller, don't they generally ask for references via the forum anyway? ie, "references for joe seiko please, i'm considering purchasing a watch from this seller." =)

You have nailed the heart of our discussion and what we are trying to best figure out how to handle.
