Gentlemen,

I was talking with a friend tonight and found out he is in the market for a new watch. He has a fairly specific set of criteria, and I couldn't think of a suitable watch off the top of my head. I thought it would be fun to put it to the knowledgeable folk here to see what turns up. Here is the criteria:

• Dual time display (ana-digi preferred)
• Lume
• Numbers on the hours (not just batons or indices)
• Clear and easy to read. He wears glasses.
• Rotating bezel
  • I told him this isn't possible and he already knows this, but he wanted the markers on the bezel to be in 6 minute intervals. It's for flying. Maybe there such a watch - who knows?
• Tough enough with water resistance so as to be used as an everyday beater
• Doesn't cost the Earth, which is why he's looking at Japanese watches.

So there you have it. Any ideas?

I think is will be difficult. This may be well off beam but I quite like the Tissot T-Touch Titanium or classic.

I think the Tissot is a great option.
Also a great Swiss option is the Victorinox chrono Classic xls mt

Or the Orient Analog Digital. Not sure of model numbers. Just did a Google search and stole the pics.

There are some Citizen Aqualand duplex with numbers on them too I think.

I didn't realize how few there are with numbers on them!
