I got it on a May (1969) 6139 but must of been put on at a later date.

John, I have seen this type of clasp on a 6138-0030 Kakume JDM but I am far from an expert.

That clasp would be used on several different Sports 5 watches including 6138 + 6139 Speedtimers.

It came on this but a 6139 expert told me it was incorrect.

The May 1969 6139-6000 should properly have come on a JDM bracelet, no ?
That clasp was never fitted to a 6139-600X H-Link bracelet model Z002 like you show. But yes for a JDM style.
This clasp would have been fitted on various 6138, 6139, 7015, 7016, 7017 and more.
Adds a nice touch !

The bracelet is incorrect but the clasp is correct.

I second this. Looks like a Kakume Speedtimer JDM clasp.
EDIT: The Tokei Zara (6138-0020) also had a similar clasp.
