They should mean the same thing and a proper service/overhaul should see the movement completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected for wear, damaged parts, etc. Then it should be reassembled and properly lubricated according to the manufacturer's oiling schedule. Lastly the watch should be timed and regulated if necessary. Dive watches should also be pressure tested to ensure water tightness to the stated level.dex said:Hi
