I have a NOS dial that I purchased from Jonathan many years back. we both knew what it was, but no one but me ever bid on it when he posted it to ebay. I never met his reserve and he wouldn't sell it to me until in passing I mentioned that I was on the SCWF. I had never seen another one until I stumbled across this watch.



the owner of that watch says he thinks it has the incorrect indicator ring (and the tachy hands of course). has anyone see this particular dial on these 6139s? is it a precursor to the dial below? it is more gold than yellow as seen in the pic above.

I'm more used to seeing the one as show in indera's watch:

I would guess it's AM...? (waits for the QI klaxon)

That dial, in my opinion, as has been mentioned, is an aftermarket dial. I have seen several of that version without the day-date window frame.

If you'll notice, that watch also has the incorrect hour + minute hands. They should be frosted rather then shiny.
