All,

If you can remember, I had posted a repair question about 3 weeks ago. It was regarding my Citizen Calibre 2100.

Some of our knowledgeable Formum members suggest that I send it back to Citizen USA for repairs.

I sent the watch out on 4/15, got it back yesterday!!
I barely made the 5-year warranty period - all repairs were free of charge! :) The watch was pressure tested - everything is A-Okay!

Thanks for the recommendation!

Congratulations. It is a good day when the manufacturer takes care of its customer as it should.
Citizen is well known for that. They have built a solid reputation in after sales at the different fora, be it taking care of watches sent to them for maintainance, be it actually posting at these fora and answering questions to the members.

I wish I could say the same about Seiko..... :'(

Congratulations for correcting the issue on this excelent watch, Kai. I'm happy for you, man. Also, thanks for the heads up! I got your P.M. bro!
Regards,
CHRIS

Have yet (knock on wood) to send a Citizen back for repairs, but they do have a sterling reputation when it comes to after sales customer service. It is amazing how many watch companies in the market today (at any price level) have such a hard time grasping the basic concept of good service.

The Calibre 2100 is a terrific timepiece and well worth to keep it running in tip-top shape. :-*

Seiko COSERV seems to be turning the corner. When the time comes to service both of my Anantas and my JDM SARBs it is very likely I'll be sending the watches back to Japan. At least with the Spring Drive I have no choice as Seiko only services them in Japan.

Congrats. ;D

It's always nice to hear a story wherein a customer is well taken care of and is satisfied. Far too often we hear the negative aspects of repair, so thi sis refreshing. O0

P.S. Cool watch. I've yet to be intrigued by chronos on the whole, but this one appeals to me.
