I am interested in acquiring a Seiko 6105, but I want to ensure it is all original (except perhaps the crystal and watchband) and in good shape. Can anyone recommend or refer me to good sources for quality, original vintage Seiko watches?

Like any vintage watch it's a hunt. Forums, eBay, maybe even a local watchmaker shop. You have to do your research as to spot fakes/aftermarket parts/mix matched parts, etc. You can post in the trading section of these forums for a Want to Buy too.

Uncle Seiko from time to time posts some 6105s on his website. From mint to beaters, honest and well described.
Doesnt hurt to check out Watch Recon.
Learn all you can, get a feel for what they sell for. Happy hunting.

Ebay is a good place to see lots of 6105 examples. Not all totally stock. May not be the best play to buy.

There is a lot of info on here about non stock parts and what to look for. This forum has a for sale area that I have bought and sold several watches including 6105's.
