I'm actually writing this with some frustration.
Where are all the used sbdx001 when you want one?
Are the owners simply holding onto theirs?
I have had to pull the trigger on a new one from a dealer in Germany.
I'm thinking it's not a bad deal as used ones
(When found) demand nearly new prices anyway with only a small % from new price. What is the forum members thoughts?

If the used prices are close to the prices of a brand new one, then why not just get a brand new watch if you want one?

Having owned two Marinemasters, and having watched prices in the interim, I think that we're in a good time for new buyers.

It wasn't long ago that a new one would run $2,500. I recently picked up my second for $1,700 new.

I think that the problem for used sellers is that they're trying to get as close as they can to the "new" price without taking too much of a hit if they bought at $2,500.

But sometimes, like now, buying new is a pretty good option for a MM.

Seiya Japan has new MM300's for 1800 US... Like others have said, the prices have only recently started to decline so selling a used one now would be a big loss...
