Well its running great now and soon to be done, well hopefully.
All that is missing is the (Hacking unit), :03:which was very worn out,
cracked and needs to be replaced, and a Decent Dial. :hope:
It has been almost (9 months) since I got it too, so it has to be done.

If any parts to be had please let me know, even if (Piece by Piece) that
would be just fine. I will try to meet your price.

Yesterday a friend at church saw me standing in my Security place, and came to me and ask if I wanted a watch that was not
working and its broken. He said I am going to use only Dress watchs from now on. He said its getting to big and well you fixed
my old one and for free, so I want to give this to you. The dial is changing color too and I don't like that also.
He is about in his late (60's ), too.
I said well if you don't want it anymore I'll take it. He says you told me you collect watchs so here it is. I said thank you Sir, gave
the package to my wife and she pursed it. I came home she said here is the package you gave me to hold.

I opened it .... " It was a Hong Kong (1977) Dial, 6309-7049 in there ".
Very nice shape and what a Patina also, and on a new Oyster bracelet with extra links also, Box, Papers, Purchase receipt.
I was just telling her the other day, I have to get one more case for this one 7040 dial I have here.
Then this one shows up, and still now another case to be found later on.

Note:
The Stem came off the Crown and the spring gets stuck, that is why it is not working, it wont set when pulled out.
This the best I can do for now, picture came small. Grand Daughter not here.

That's what everyone tells me, that I am always doing things for people and I am loosing out. I don't loose out,
because I like all people and help them when I can, most of the time I did it for free many things.

Like the old saying says........" What goes around comes back around ",
and that is very true.
In Hawaii we are raised to be like that, especially for the Elder people that many neglect,
but I do not practice that neglect.

Well I just love people and I don't look at all of their faults, but try to help them be different and do better.
That's what I was taught to be like also. I really do not give up on others if I can help them to help
themselves to be better, then they can help others to be the same.

Kind Member LongBike, we see that Hawaii is preparing for 2 hurricanes and just had an earthquake. I know about hurricanes as Alicia in the '80s wiped out my house and 2 years ago Sandy really whacked us bad.

We are still just experiencing strong winds yet. It is Thursday the , 8/7/2014, and it is very quiet now but many are in preparations for it.
I live above Pearl Harbor and on very high ground over-looking from what is called...... Diamond Head all the way across the Waikiki Bay area towards the North Shore side. Everything has been done and now awaiting what will come. Hopefully it will pass on, with no damage.
I thank you Sir for your message and concern for all back here. We, many Veterans belong to many Volunteer groups so we might be busy too.

Yes John that would be great.
I have not decided just what type of Dial I really want, also the type of Crown setup,
still looking. Then there is the crystal to get.
Also the type of Bracelet to use. And I have to get a crystal retainer yet.
I have most of it and just a couple of those things more to complete.
I have been getting things piece by piece lately.
Its this one TST and the 6306 to be done.
