Guys a quick update on the 137m/150m WR leak tester.

Clear chamber's inner diameter is a MASSIVE 68mm, tube has a BURST rating of 40BAR!

NOTE: the viewing chamber will be MUCH taller than shown (UPDATE to follow).

Hi,

The machine has been designed by myself with Solidworks 3D CAD and CNC machined abroad.

All the assembling and small machining work I will do myself.

P.S. The last pressure tester I designed and had made was capable of testing watches to over 3,00metres over 300Bar of pressure!

Hi,

Bergeon 5555s or the Guangdong knockoff will only test to 30metres, 60metres AND the latest version 100metres, the Calypso WR leak tester will test to 100metres, in THEORY I could offer a 200metres WR leak tester tho MAX inner viewing chamber would be 54mm diameter!

Ok mate thats awesome, now the million dollar question, once made and priced would you be selling the odd one or two? Or is this just for your own personal use, or are you thinking of selling plans etc.
No dramas if not just thought id ask in a matter of interest thats all.

80metre- 8Bar update!



Chaps,

Have retested and have achieved 8Bar about 80metres depth, will fit some proper 73mm I.D. buna nitrile o-rings and see how we get on!

Couldn't you use a pump rather than having to dispose of containers? (hopefully to a recycling situation)

Hi Paul,

YES a foot or track stirrup pump can be used or an electric air compressor am just trying out whats possible, the Co2 inflators are handy if you have lots of watches to test etc.

AND yer have achieved 10Bar easily with the Co2 inflator!

Next need to fit the LARGE Buna 0-rings and sort the watch hanger.

Chaps an update.

With the double o-ring sealing I can achieve a DECENT 8Bar of constant pressure which will be improved to 10Bar+ HOPEFULLY.
