I agree with most of their points but I disagree with #3 & #5, I would also add.
# 13 take things you read on Hodinkee with a grain of salt.

I don’t have a desire for vintage Rolex for the price it commands. Just not interested.

#15 is Beware of Pogue Madness. Oh well, too late.

It is a good read. But I hope that nobody heeds that "don't follow the pack" thing until after I've sold off a couple of Pogues <g>.

Good read... I've been following number 12; enjoying what I have for some time now and I think that's a good rule to follow in most areas of life, but it's also good to aspire to something better from time to time.

Today I'm wearing a favorite mod that I've never even shown, but it just makes me happy to wear it.

I also agree, #12 on this list is a really good one, and one that I all too frequently lose sight of in the quest for what's next. I also really liked #12 in their original list - never forget, it's just a watch. (Heresy? Perhaps...but also true) :)
