Maybe not quite as exciting to most as the new Arnie, nevertheless a kind soul sent an unwanted watch to me. came on a stand with instructions but hasn’t run for years. I’ll always find a home for an orphan!

After a good ten minutes working out just exactly how to open the back I managed it. Basically you pop off the front and the back and strap are a single unit.

Gave the surfaces a quick wipe and popped in a fresh CR2016 and she fired right up.

Pip great little watch and a great Read Sir👏👏👏👏
You and me are like the “WPL” (Watch Protection League) as I also love a stray a gifted watch or an abandoned Watch and I never sell them if I’m gifted them it’s a rule of mine.

Nice to see Pip and glad it fired up straight away.👍⌚

Thanks matey! I think the positive is it seems lithium batteries don’t leak or seem less likely to anyway. The old battery had obviously been dead in there for many years but looked brand new.
