Like you I tried the TF, contacted my contacts and searched the World until one day i spotted this !! by the time i had bought the Lot, paid the guy double the shipping he had asked for in the auction, waited 6 weeks for delivery and finally been caught by our customs and paid them it had cost a small fortune but it was worth it because it was a NOS :) :)

I see it there, the needle in the haystack.

Thanks for the support John, I'm sure the guys on the sales forum are already tired of my WTB ad and I'm trying not to bump it too much - (even though my last bump was only 2 days apart..) Someday i'll find one, just about the time I've given up on it. Isn't that always the way?

150m helped me out with a proper case back as my project had one from a 6105-8119.

I'm trying to avoid buying another wrecked 6105-8000 just to get a correct crown but desperate times lead to desperate measures. ;D

Yeah John, confused I am. LOL.
I've been following your posts on your quest to restore yours or was it the tuna, and just got mixed up.
Too many people, too many watches. Uh oh, I'm in need of regulating or servicing. lol.

Cheers, Dave.

Not trying to tease, just trying to give hope. After almost a year of searches,
today I got a NOS 6105-800x crown+stem, thanks to Andy W., a long time SCWF member.
The crown came in a bullet proof package all the way from Australia to Israel.

Now my 1970 '8000 can be safe for another 40 years. Don't lose hope, Seikosonic, yours will come too.

Very cool catch on the parts lots- they make collecting FUN!!!

I might have a 6105-8000 crown- but its missing the gasket , and the 'fitted ring'
that holds the gasket inside , Im not sure if I threw it out or not.
the reason I would have thrown it out , is because it no longer can take a gasket.

I just moved and all my watch crap is sitting in some file boxes.
remind me and I will look.
