Hi guys,

Very happy today because it's been more than a year i was rebuilding a 6138-0030 Kakume from my birthday Y&M.

It was a real battle to find a NOS center chronograph hand, the only missing part to be full genuine.AND ! Yesterday, postman was welcomed...;)

So...first we met :undecided: :

The main issue, too damaged balance wheel :

But not the only one, movement is really dirty :

So i decided to grab all NOS parts for 6138 i can:

Clean, re-assemble and lubricate everything:

In the end.. last night...

Now, Doin' a blue rock,On a blue bus,Doin' a blue rock,C'mon, yeah :yahoo:

Excellent work
I find the ones which take so much work to get all the bits and take a little more time to come together are the most rewarding
These are some of my most favorite ones
And u have to love the 6138's
Thank u for sharing it
God Bless,John

Congrats on a job well done! Beautiful watch, the Kakume is a very attractive piece. I have my first 6138 waiting in the wings, still need to source a few more parts and just as importantly find the time to do it!
