but - i have been after one for a while. Not sure why as they are any odd bird - but hey - it fits my criteria (which is that i like it).

Pretty rare now and this one came up at the right price.

Next to a lovely rose gold start gate to show the size of it.

I like a lot of the digitals and i like that Barry, nice.

The "Start Gate" made me think of Greyhound racing for some reason :)

I've never seen one of those before. a bit too chunky for the average wrist I expect.
What year is it? I guess it's 1970's?

Its a STP005 Final Fantasy .

It was - in theory - based on a watch that appeared in a Film named Final Fantasy - the Spirits within.

However, the actual watch in that film was a solid s/s band , heavily machined buttons etc.

I believe this one was limited to 1000 but not sure.

Ha John - the Start Gate is a result of me winding down. For Easter. :)

Glad you are happy to acquire a special wanted Seiko.

I've never been exposed to this design before so today I learned something quite new about Seiko Digital offerings.

Happy Holidays !
