This past weekend, a friend and colleague came to Germany for work and threw me a real surprise by wearing his newest acquisition. I remember reading about the titanium Landmaster Spring Drive in 2012 when it was released. Most people didn't think so highly of it. Let me say...in person, this is a gorgeous watch. It's light, the dial is fantastically detailed with a "step down" and a rather restrained power reserve indicator.
Also, while large, the lugs curve down and create a nice fit for a small wrist.
The best thing is that one can get into a Spring Drive new for less than $2k...at least at the Japanese camera shops.
Some shots and a little comparison to another famous Seiko with crowns on top. Enjoy!!
