I just recently bought a Seiko PADI Turtle and is starting to really like Seiko and its history.

This is well appreciated.

While any list of this sort will by its nature be subjective, I think the author is off base by failing to include the Seiko 5 Sportsmatic of 1963.

According to the Seiko Museum:

"The number of Seiko “Fives” exported from Japan in 1966 reportedly exceeded the total number of self-winding watches in all of Switzerland.... The worldwide success of the “Five” popularized self-winding watches everywhere. The “Five” style has set the standard for practical functional watches ever since."

I always enjoy these types of articles. Thanks for sharing.

No.2 Seiko fans will agree on the same top 12, but I think this guy did a pretty darn good job of it.
