^-^ Good Morning! I was up at about 6am today getting ready to see the Argentina Germany World Cup match. Was just browsing through the Bay before the start of the game and saw this watch with a BIN that I could not pass up. It is a Seiko 8V36-0010 Ultrasonic Alarm Titanium with Box and Paper. Here are some pics of the watch.

Cheers,
Jeremiah

Very fun watch. I saw in some Seiko marketing blurb that this was the smallest ultrasonic electrical motor at the time and they saw it as a considerable technical achievement to develop it for a wristwatch. That said, it is really not very impressive in actual use so it might not really have been R&D money well spent. Below is my yellow version.

Not trying to be a smart butt or anything but what do they mean by ultrasonic? It normally implies sound above human hearing threshold so its inaudible? Sure thats a stupid question but just trying to get a feel if its a misnomer or truly u/s(then what is its special purpose?)

Sincerely
