$2500 is actually a good price for a 200,000 Yen watch bought & delivered from Japan, I would definitely not trust any forum member with that much money on a watch he doesn't have personally.

I've sold a 'still incoming' watch once when I had a rather spectacular fit of buyer's remorse .. it was a black quartz Seiko bullhead. I did not, however, go through the SCTP, a long standing forum member offered to take it off my hands and I had the watch posted to him, accepting payment only after it was safely delivered.

It's the only way a deal of this sort can go through, I guess.
