I have bought this wee gem but the seller says it doesn't work. I figure my options are to try and have it repaired, to replace the movement with another of the same calibre or to replace with another movement altogether. I don't know if the latter is even possible. Any advice very much appreciated.

Thanks John. That would be my first choice. When it arrives ill take to my watchmaker. I don't know if parts are available for these early electronic pieces but Ill have him take a look. Here are the case back and a close-up of the movement. It was a special production for Japan's biggest ad agency. Worn, then, by one of Tokyo's Mad Men.
