Offered up for sale here is a brilliant vintage Seiko 6105-8000 diver with "Resist" dial and "Proof" back. This transitional configuration of Resist/Proof is somewhat scarce, and the production date of March 1970 is the correct time period for the Resist/Proof. I just got this watch back from a complete service from my watchmaker, and is running at +6 sec per day when I checked it a few days ago. The caliber 6105B hacks as it should. The dial is completely original and mint. The hour and minute hands have been relumed by Jack at IWW, the second hand is untouched. It has a NOS 320W10GN crystal installed, along with new back and crystal gaskets. Also, while at IWW, I had Jack install a new crown gasket in the original signed crown as well. Case is unpolished and still shows the factory brushed finish, with nice crisp edges. Original bezel and insert are excellent, with only a few tiny marks on the insert. Comes ready to wear and enjoy on a WJean waffle repro strap.
So, you have a super sweet 6105-8000 diver with NOS crystal, all new gaskets, freshly serviced hacking movement, and the best repro strap available. How can you go wrong?
