Cronometro Victoria was a trade name used by Waltham in the late 19th and early 20th centuries for pocket watch sales in the South American market. This diver dates to the 1960's. Interestingly, there is what appears to be a stylized logo of the sun on the dial. This ties in to the depiction of the sun stamped on the inside of the earlier pocket watch cases. However, whether of not this watch was manufactured by Waltham is unknown. In any case, it's a pretty darn cool vintage diver. 40mm (excluding large screw down crown) stainless case in good condition. Striking intact blue and white acrylic bezel insert. Original faded, or as some would say "tropicalized", dial with applied markers. Quick set red date display. Automatic A. Schild 2063 movement runs well, keeps good time, and has strong power reserve. Service history unknown. On vintage Tropic style strap. Tons of character with this one. Chances are you won't see another.

Price includes CONUS shipping. International please inquire. Contact steve.oliverio(at)gmail.com or PM if interested. SOLD
