Offered up for sale is an absolutely brilliant and mint condition vintage King Seiko KS Special Chronometer Officially Certified 5245-6000. The dial is a beautiful silver/white linen finish, and is mint. Date only window at three o'clock. These usually show up with the day and date, but the date only seems to be harder to find. The case is stainless steel and is a front-loading one piece case. It is in superb condition and is unpolished. The factory original finish is all there, with nice sharp lines. Case measures 35mm wide with 18mm lugs. The original Hardlex mineral glass crystal is mint without scratches. Original signed 'KS' crown. The caliber 5245 movement works perfectly, and kept time to +12 seconds in the past 24 hours. Movement hacks and hand winds, and the quickset date works as it should. When winding the movement or quick setting the date, the crown is tight to turn, but not when setting the time. I had my watchmaker check it out and he said there was nothing wrong with it and nothing he could adjust. Over all exceptional example of a highly desirable King Seiko Special Chronometer.
