So much more class than another seller currently on the trading forum, I offered the full asking price, offered to fully accept the risk of it getting lost in the post, mentioned several forums where he could find references for me............... he didn't even have the good grace to reply with a "its been sold"

And sometimes the buyer doesn't bother to acknowledge receipt of his purchase. If I sent it with tracking, I know when it's received. If no tracking, I figure if he's not contacted me in a couple of weeks from the shipping date I gave him, he's received it. So far, so good.
