Side By side Comparo's of Some Popular Divers...

Authored by Isthmus

I put this post together in order to answer a question on another forum. I figured it might make for a decent size reference guide here on the forum as well. Please feel free to add any other comparison pictures of popular divers against another popular diver. don't forget to include a redirect link taking anyone interested to where a discussion on that comparison might be found.

Without further ado, here are some popular divers compared side by side.

SKX-007 vs Marine Master 300m (from Chronograph.com):

[font=verdana][size=1em]Unfortunately, I don't have any shots comparing the 3 watches (SD600, MM300 Auto, and SUMO) directly although I did write a comparison of the SUMO to the SD that had alot of pics so here they are...

Here's what I have on the SD600 to the MM. Sadly, only 3 pics and they are pretty lousy ones...

If you want a full comparison don't forget the black sheep in the modern lineage. It's as much a Seiko as these others!

For those of you who, like me, like to see comparison photos of the various models. Here are a few comparing my Darth Tuna with my son's Ecozilla and my new Baby-zilla - better known on this forum as the Orca. One can clearly see the inner anti-glare coating on both of the Citizens. It's slightly darker and more noticeable on the Orca. It also appears to me that the latter's crystal has slightly better clarity than its big brother.

Same angle with slightly different lighting.

A side shot at a 45 degree angle. This one clearly highlights the curvature of the Orca's crystal.

A nice side shot clearly showing the differences in height.

And so my Darth Tuna photo project comes to an end. Now it's time for a little family time. And no, I don't mean with my watch family, I mean with my real one [img]http://www.network54.com/images/happy.gif

I hope that you guys enjoyed this project as much as me.
