A recent incoming, 7548 with a nicely aged bezel insert, which has started to change colour to an inky blue:




Got me thinking about the effects of time of watches.

Had a nicely aged Tuna where the lume had started to change:



A 6105 where time had taken the shine off the applied Seiko logo:


Anyone else share theirs?

The 6309 above is one that I have held on to, but a while back I was really keen on finding Heavy Wabi examples - I'm sure John will remember this one!

Mmmm, some real wabi sabi, lots of lovely aged 6309s mixed in there.

Years ago picked up an aged 6309, bleached/baked insert & vintage re-lume, first thing to get me into imperfect watches, no substitute for genuine aging though:

Wabi, eh? My first & probably favorite 6309 in my collection has the most dings and dents.
Love the contrast with the clean Suwa dial.

funkster, That's a real " Cream Puff " that one , just LOVE having those.
I have about " Three -Four " just like that but wont touch them but they
all work great.

Fine like Satin , that's so smotheee. Just Beautiful to behold.

My Daini 6217 has some of the most beautiful imperfection I've seen:

My 6215 appears bezel appears purple in the right light, but this is more plain ol' patina than wabi-sabi:
